Since joining the Shadow team in 2004, Stephen has gained experience in most facets of its operations and administration; he has held myriad special event and static posts, as well as planned and supervised security rosters at same, all the while acquiring proficiency in threat and risk assessment, physical security, retail loss prevention, and investigations. Mr. Spencer also acted as Office Manager in Halifax for 2 years (2006-2007) before operating a branch office in North-eastern Nova Scotia from 2008 through 2009. He is a licensed and experienced Private Investigator as well as a Security Officer, is currently CSAA-certified for Central Station Operations (Level II), and has earned certificates from the RCMP in Physical Security, and Law Enforcement Investigations (Level II). Mr. Spencer is also one of only two private security made official Liquor Inspectors by the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation. (The other being Shadow Security’s Joe Baldwin).
