Rob has been a member of Shadow Group since 2011. Prior to joining Shadow, Rob gained numerous years of experience working in bars in every capacity from bartender to doorman, as well as security manager. Throughout this time, Rob has become very proficient in ID verification. As a result, there have been times when Rob has been called upon to assist the RCMP in matters dealing with false identification. In 2011, at the urging of his peers, Rob joined Shadow Security. In addition to working as a bar doorman, he has been deployed for such events as Black Sabbath, Bob Seger, Journey, Kevin Hart, UFC Fight Night, and the Evolve Festival, to name a few. Rob’s detail-oriented and efficiency-based approach, along with his aptitude for crowd and access control, led him to become an event supervisor in 2014. He has organized and run security for events including the Antigonish Highland Games, Isle Madam Bluegrass & Old Time Country Music Festival, Codstock, and many others. Outside of Shadow, Rob pursues a variety of other ventures which includes working with the Special Needs Community and performing as a stand-up comedian.
