Chris is a tactical conditioning trainer who has over a decade of experience in the security industry, including nearly eight years as the head of security for one of the largest and most popular bars in Eastern Canada. Aside from his numerous years as a senior supervisor with Shadow Security, Chris has traveled the world as Nickelback’s head of security. Chris’s responsibilities within this role included providing the band with close quarters protection 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for a year and a half. He was also responsible to develop security and safety plans for every venue the band performed in around the world. His experience with Nickelback combined with is ongoing security work has provided Chris with over 10,000 hours of event security experience.Most recently, Chris has been appointed the security lead for the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, including the overall management of security for their annual Juno Awards.
