Alex Cameron (AC) has been in the Security Industry since 2006 and been with Shadow Security since 2007. AC studied Kinesiology and History at Dalhousie University and is working through a Business Administration Diploma with NSCC. AC is a certified personal trainer and specializes in Mobility and Power Production. AC has played 3 years with The Nova Scotia Buccaneers Senior Tackle Football team as a Running Back and is a current Board member as well as the strength and condition coach and a team captain. AC has Coached Dalhousie Football in the past and currently volunteers his time with the Halifax Argos minor football program as a running backs and strength and conditioning coach. AC also has a strong background in competitive amateur freestyle wrestling and played rugby for the Nova Scotia provincial team during his teenage years. AC is the Current Head doorman of the highly successful LOT Six Bar located on Argyle St. in downtown Halifax.
AC has completed numerous Defensive Weapons and Tactics courses and seminars including; integrated tactical conditioning, PPCT, SOT LIVE, as well as becoming exceptionally proficient in ID verification, so much so that AC assists Shadow Security owner Kent MacDonald with instruction in the A-VER-T course. During his 11 years in the Industry AC has amassed over 8500 hours of experience in Bars and events, including supervising parts of Both AC/DC shows, Nickelback and Bon Jovi on Magnetic Hill, running the extraction team for the highly stringent Kevin Heart shows, Fighter walks for Both UFC events, Tour Security for Protest the Hero, Matthew Good, assisting Kent MacDonald with Johnny Reid and the Trews and spent time running the door for 25+ bars in the Maritimes, including the Toothy Moose, Pouge Fado and Pacifico.
