Stephen is currently employed with the Canadian Armed Forces as a master corporal. He is an instructor at CFB Gagetown where he provides leadership courses and qualifications for the Armored Recce crew These courses enable new leaders to conduct Vehicle checkpoints, Armed Recce Patrols, Vital point security tasks and other tasks that relate to securing/protecting information and or equipment. This allows people to be safe and professional to save lives.
Stephen’s work related experience includes a tour to Afghanistan, which he provided security to entrance of the FOB. Tasks included individual search-pat downs for intel and contraband items of persons entering and exiting location and if necessary detain prisoners of war. Stephen’s current certifications include, First Aid instructor, Primary Leadership Qualification, Armored Recce Crew Commander, Smart Serve NB, reporting and investigations for disciplinary reviews, suicide intervention for supervisors, Road to Mental Health Resiliency instructor. Conflict resolution, anger management, behavioral necessities and media rapport. Stephen has also received the following medals and awards Queens Jubilee Medal, Southwestern Asia Medal and taken various courses pertaining to military law. Stephen has been a member of Shadow Security for over 5 years, and intends to segway that experience into a career in law enforcement.
